Jovanotti, born Lorenzo Cherubini, is one of Italy’s most beloved singer-songwriters, rising from his early days as a DJ in Abruzzo and Rome to becoming a defining figure in Italian pop culture. His career took off in 1987 when his debut tracks caught the attention of producer Claudio Cecchetto, leading to major visibility on Deejay Television and Radio Deejay, and eventually to the success of his first album Jovanotti for President. Through the years, he delivered iconic hits across multiple decades—from Non m’annoio, Ragazzo Fortunato, and Serenata Rap to Bella, Per Te, A Te, Mi Fido di Te, Il Più Grande Spettacolo Dopo il Big Bang, L’Estate Addosso, Sabato, and Oh, Vita!. His journey includes collaborations with major Italian and international artists, and unforgettable live shows, including the massive Jova Beach Party tour, which drew huge crowds across Italy’s shores. Jovanotti continued exploring new sounds through projects like Lorenzo Sulla Luna, Il Disco Del Sole, and more recent singles such as Occhi a cuore and Oceanica. In 2026, he returns with L’Arca di Loré, a bold new project blending fresh music, travel, cycling, and collective celebration, staying true to his lifelong rule of constant reinvention.
