Art Collective is desirous of undertaking an ambitious project to stage a Drama, directed by Sasidharan Naduvil, an accomplished professional theatre director from Kerala and performed by artists from the Sydney Malayalee community. The drama ‘Marameedan’ is a sarcastic take on ironies and dilemmas of contemporary socio-political environment, with a tinge of black humour, accompanied by folk music. It has a universal theme which communicates despite the boundaries of languages and cultures. An English Synopsis will be provided in the interest of non-Malayalam speaking guests.

Event & Terms and Conditions for Users

• Seating will be on First come first serve basis.
• The ticket is the proof of purchase of the event and the holder of the ticket must be presented while on entry. No one will be permitted without the valued ticket under any circumstances.
• The drama is a Socio-political satire, which young children may not be able to enjoy.  Hence children under 10 years are not encouraged inside the theatre during the performance
• Parents are requested to utilize the children entertainment facility that we are organizing in the venue, while parents are watching the drama.  A professional artist, duly qualified to look after children will entertain them in a separate performance hall inside the Powerhouse art centre.  This is included in the ticket price and there is no extra charge for this facility.
• Doors Open at 5:30 PM
• Food will be available for purchase in Powerhouse art center Cafe.
• Tickets non-refundable (ticket can only be refunded in the event that the performance got cancelled)
• Food & Drinks  not allowed inside the venue
• Mobile Phones to be left on silent mode.
• Timings /dates/venue of the show is subject to change as per promoters discretion due to any unforeseen circumstances.
• Entry to the show is reserved as per Promoters’ Discretion.
