Where – Parramatta RSL Auditorium, Cnr of O’Connell St & Macquarie St, Parramatta NSW 2150
DOORS OPEN AT 4:00 PM
- Only 15 min intermission
- Each ticket holder must carry ID proof along with the printed copy of ticket. ID Proof is mandatory for RSL registration. In absence of RSL registration, entry to event is prohibited.
- Free RSL car park entry is available to the opposite side of venue. Please re-validate your parking ticket at RSL reception before exit.
About Rahul Deshpande:
राहुल देशपांडे हे सद्य काळातील एक तरुण, अभ्यासू आणि शास्त्रीय संगीताचा व्यासंग असलेले गायक आहेत. राहुल हे सुप्रसिद्ध गायक कै. डॉ.वसंतराव देशपांडे यांचे नातू असून ते पुण्यात राहतात. शास्त्रीय संगीतात रुची असल्याने राहुलनी तरुण पणातच पंडित कुमार गंधर्वांच्या गायकीचा बारकाईने अभ्यास केला. सुरवातीला संगीताचे मार्गदर्शन उषाताई चिपलकट्टी आणि कुमार गंधर्वांचे चिरंजीव मुकुल शिवपुत्र यांनी राहुलला केले.
त्यानंतर राहुलने संगीताचे शिक्षण गंगाधर बुवा पिंपळखरे आणि मधुसूदनराव पटवर्धन यांच्या कडून घेतले. स्वतः राहुल हे उत्तम तबला वादक असून, तबला वादनाचे शिक्षण राहुलनि सुरेश सामंत यांचे कडून घेतले आहे.
शास्त्रीय संगीतातील विविध राग, ख्याल , दादरा , ठुमरी,गझल आणि नाट्यसंगीत, भावगीतं इत्यादी संगीत प्रकार पेश करण्यात राहुल निपुण आहेत. राहुल यांनी तरुण वयातच आपल्या संगीत कामगिरीचा उत्तम ठसा देशोदेशींच्या प्रेक्षकांच्या मनावर उमटवला आहे. नाट्य संगीत,रागदारी, पार्श्व संगीत आणि संगीत दिग्दर्शन करून राहुलने पंडित वसंतरावांचा संगीत वारसा उत्तम प्रकारे पुढे चालवला आहे.
