ABOUT BENNY DAYAL

Benny Dayal is a popular name in the world of Indi-Pop. He is a member of the band S5 launched by the channel SS Music. Benny’s parents originally belong to Kollam district in Kerela. Benny was born and brought up in Abu Dhabi where his father was working.

After completing his schooling from Abu Dhabi Indian School (ADIS) Benny went on to complete his Bachelors in Commerce from Madras Christian College. He later also completed his degree in Journalism and want on to work as Events coordinator with RR Donnelley. Music was his first love and Benny was determined to make it big in the world of music.

He even quit his BPO job to pursue his singing career. But life has not been a bed of roses for the talented young singer. The journey from being a hero at college culturals and winning inter college competitions to facing the real world has been a tough one. Benny kept knocking the doors of several music directors and only to hear that was not born to become a playback singer. Benny however had faith in his music and was determined that God had plans for him.

This famous Tollywood and Bollywood playback singer finally got a breakthrough with popular music director AR Rahman after which there has been no looking back!
