About Artist

Salim and Sulaiman Merchant form the acclaimed Indian composer duo known as Salim–Sulaiman. With a rich portfolio spanning over a decade, they have crafted mesmerizing musical scores predominantly for Bollywood films. Their notable works include iconic soundtracks for movies like “Neal ‘n’ Nikki,” “Chak De! India,” “Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi,” and “Fashion.”

Beyond the silver screen, Salim and Sulaiman have left their mark on the music industry by composing for Indi-pop sensations such as Viva, Aasmaan, Shweta Shetty, Jasmine, and Style Bhai, among others. Additionally, they’ve lent their talents to numerous TV commercials, infusing them with memorable melodies. Their collaborative spirit has led them to work with esteemed artists like K.S. Chithra, Ustad Zakir Hussain, Ustad Sultan Khan, and Ayisha Abdul Basith.

The duo’s creative journey has seen them collaborate with renowned producers and directors such as Yash Chopra, Subhash Ghai, and Ram Gopal Varma, further solidifying their stature in the Indian film industry.
