About Artist:
Albert Hera, pseudonym of Alberto Quarello (Collegno, August 29, 1967), began studying as a saxophonist and later discovered his true “instrument” – his voice.
During his career he met Bobby McFerrin, with whom he collaborated on his improvised opera “Bobble” and on the album VOCAbuLarieS, called by critics one of the greatest masterpieces of choral music of the 21st century.
His quest as a “storyteller of sounds,” led him to define a true “neo-language” that encompasses the ability to lead the listener to imagine faraway places, scents, dances and people, weaving, through improvisation, unique and sometimes epic plots and tales. He has always been very involved with teaching – a passion he has continued to pursue, for many years, with his philosophy related to singing, both individually and in a circle.
