Kala Academy Goa is a prominent cultural institution and arts centre established in 1970 by the Government of Goa, dedicated to nurturing and promoting various forms of art such as music, dance, drama, fine art, folk art, and literature. Situated on a scenic riverfront location in the Campal area of Panaji, the academy features performance venues including an openâair amphitheatre, auditorium, exhibition spaces, and a âBlack Boxâ theatre, and hosts festivals, workshops, competitions, seminars, and cultural programmes throughout the year. Designed by renowned architect Charles Correa, it also offers training through its arts schools and serves as a vibrant hub for artists, students, and cultural enthusiasts alike in the region.
