Pushpanjali Arts proudly presents another showstopping concert “Ek Pyar Ka Naghma” featuring the timeless gems of the legendary musical duo Laxmikant-Pyarelalji.
Laxmikant-Pyarelal gifted Bollywood with a treasure trove of timeless melodies over a span of 35 years from 1963 to 1998. Their compositions, spanning genres, showcased a mastery of orchestration and a knack for crafting unforgettable tunes. From their first superhit movie Parasmani in 1963 to upbeat rhythms of “Dosti” to the romantic ballads of “Bobby” in 1973, spiritually uplifting music of Satyam Shivam Sundaram in 1978 to disco tunes of Karz in 1980 and patriotic fervour of “Kranti” – their music transcended generations, leaving an indelible mark on Indian cinema. Their success solidified their place as one of the most influential music directors in Bollywood history. This association came to an end in 1998 with the passing of Laxmikantji however Pyarelalji continues composing and performing musical shows in both their names Laxmikant-Pyarelal as before.
They won a total of 7 Best Music Director awards and were nominated for 17 more.
