Etienne Rousseau Theatre was originally donated to the Sasolburg community by the Sasol energy company to commemorate its 25th anniversary. Designed as a multi‑purpose theatre, it has presented a wide range of arts and cultural events — from drama, opera, and ballet to classical and contemporary music concerts. International performers such as Paco Peña, James Galway, and Jorge Bolet have appeared on its stage
