District Bike Summit 2025

Join fellow cyclists and safe streets advocates at WABA’s 2025 District Bike Summit on Sunday, December 7, 2025, from 2–5 PM at the Festival Center in Adams Morgan. This free event focuses on advancing bicycling and safe transportation across Washington, DC. The summit features a keynote by David Zipper, MIT Mobility Initiative fellow, discussing autonomous vehicles and their impact on cyclists. Two engaging panels will cover Effective Organizing—with voices like Mark Sussman, Alex Clark, and Brenda Richardson—and More and Better DC Bicycling, featuring Alyssa Proudfoot Siegel, Brooke Bernold, and a Prime Ability youth advocate. Attendees will also hear from District bikeways lead Greg Billing, with a networking break including snacks and drinks.
