Opened in 1995 and owned by the City of Prince George, the venue has a seating capacity of around 5,500–5,900 depending on the event configuration. It serves as the home arena for the Prince George Cougars of the Western Hockey League and regularly hosts concerts, sporting events, exhibitions, and large entertainment shows. Known as one of northern British Columbia’s premier entertainment venues, the arena has hosted major international artists, touring productions, and large sporting championships.
