Loreena McKennitt - Under A Winter's Moon 2025

Celebrate the season with Juno Award–winning artist Loreena McKennitt and her evocative Under A Winter’s Moon concert, a blend of carols and storytelling that weaves together Celtic, Indigenous, and Welsh traditions. The performance features Gemini Award–winning actor Cedric Smith presenting A Child’s Christmas in Wales and begins with Ojibway artist Christin Dennis (Gzhiiquot/Fast Moving Cloud) sharing the story of Skywoman. McKennitt is joined by Caroline Lavelle on cello and recorders, flautist Jeffrey “Red” George, and members of the Celtic group The Bookends—Errol Fischer, Pete Watson, Cait Watson, and guest percussionist Romano DiNillo. Together, they create a rich musical and spoken-word experience that honors the past and captures the spirit of the holidays with classics like “Coventry Carol,” “Good King Wenceslas,” and the “Huron Carol.”
