The Michael J. Fox Theatre, located in Burnaby, British Columbia, is a professional, community-style performing arts venue attached to Burnaby South Secondary School. Originally opened in 1993 as the Theatre at Burnaby South, it was renamed in November 1995 to honor Canadian actor Michael J. Fox, a Burnaby native. The theatre features a 613-seat auditorium with excellent sightlines, making it an ideal space for a variety of events. It serves the Metro Vancouver community by hosting musical and theatrical performancesâincluding music, dance, drama, and comedyâcommunity and multicultural programs, as well as business meetings, educational seminars, corporate events, and film shoots or screenings, providing a versatile and accessible venue for all.
