The Literature House in Bergen – the literary hub of Vestland. It is a space for literature, public debate, and cultural experiences. We are a non-commercial foundation with the mission to promote and inspire interest in literature and reading, as well as to encourage discussion on current societal issues. The Literature House in Bergen opened on January 31, 2013. We both curate our own events and rent out spaces to external organizers. The house features five meeting rooms, an auditorium, a podcast studio, a bookstore, a café and brasserie, along with offices and workspaces.
