Dos Equis Pavilion is a well-known outdoor covered amphitheatre that originally opened on July 23, 1988, as the Coca-Cola Starplex Amphitheatre, with an inaugural concert by Rod Stewart. The venue features 7,500 covered pavilion seats along with 12,500 general admission lawn seats, offering a large and comfortable setting for live performances. Over the years, the amphitheatre has undergone several name changes due to sponsorship agreements, first becoming Starplex Amphitheatre after Coca-Cola’s naming rights ended in 1998, followed by Smirnoff Music Centre and The Music Centre at Fair Park in 2000, Superpages.com Center in 2008, Gexa Energy Pavilion in 2011, and Starplex Pavilion in 2017. In April 2018, the venue was officially renamed Dos Equis Pavilion, continuing its legacy as a major destination for large-scale concerts and live entertainment.
