Grand Casino Arena is a multi-purpose indoor arena located in downtown Saint Paul, Minnesota, United States of America. Completed in 2000 and widely known to fans as “The X,” the venue can accommodate up to 17,954 spectators for hockey games and features four seating levels, including one dedicated suite level and three general seating tiers. The arena serves as the home venue for the NHL’s Minnesota Wild, the Minnesota Frost of the Professional Women’s Hockey League, and the future MLV Minnesota franchise of Major League Volleyball. Owned by the City of Saint Paul and operated by Minnesota Sports & Entertainment, the arena occupies the same downtown block as the Saint Paul RiverCentre, Roy Wilkins Auditorium, and the Ordway Center for the Performing Arts, and shares a connected indoor access area with the RiverCentre and Roy Wilkins Auditorium.
