After co-founding the band in 1996, he helped drive Subsonica from experimental beginnings to mainstream influence. Max Casacci – Guitarist, Founder, Producer
Max Casacci
Max is the sonic architect of the band, known for fusing rock guitars with electronics. Born on 25 February 1967 in Turin, Italy, he worked as a producer and musician before forming Subsonica. His vision shaped the group’s hybrid sound, building music that mixes electronic textures with live instrumentation. His role as producer and creative lead has guided the band through every evolution, from underground acclaim to Italy-wide recognition.

Davide “Boosta” Dileo – Keyboards & Synths
Davide Dileo
Boosta brings the atmospheric, futuristic layer that defines much of Subsonica’s identity. Born on 27 September 1974 in Turin, Italy, he started with classical piano before diving into electronic music. Joining Subsonica allowed him to merge these influences, creating cinematic textures, experimental synths and unforgettable hooks. Alongside his work with the band, he composes for films and collaborates internationally, yet his contributions to Subsonica remain his strongest artistic statement.

Luca “Vicio” Vicini – Bass
Luca Vicini
Vicio anchors the group with his rhythmic, groove-heavy bass lines. He was born on 19 February 1971 in Turin, Italy, where he absorbed funk, rock and experimental styles early in his career. After joining Subsonica, his bass work became a defining element of their most celebrated albums, mixing dance-floor intensity with live rock grit. His playing keeps the band’s sound grounded and energetic.

Enrico “Ninja” Matta – Drums

Ninja is known for his explosive hybrid drumming style. Born on 31 December 1971 in Turin, Italy, he developed a unique approach that blends acoustic drums with electronic rhythm patterns.
