Red Dot Baroque presents an intimate chamber programme featuring internationally acclaimed harpsichordist Olivier Fortin in his Singapore debut as guest director, bringing audiences a rare collection of Baroque masterpieces—many performed as Singapore premieres—at the historic The Arts House Chamber. Inspired by the 17th-century European “Wonder Chamber” concept, where curiosity and innovation flourished among collections of artefacts and instruments, the performance explores how composers like Heinrich Ignaz Franz Biber, Antonio Bertali, and Johann Rosenmüller drew from their surroundings to create bold and expressive musical styles. Featuring a distinguished lineup of musicians including Danny Teong, Alan Choo, Brenda Koh, Placida Ho, Gabriel Lee, and others, the concert invites audiences on a rich journey of discovery through evocative works by Bertali, Biber, Weichlein, Becker, Muffat, Stradella, and more.
