Venue – River Canyon

Situated on the banks of the Parramatta River, River Canyon Restaurant moved to its current location in 1984. During the late 1960s it was called ‘The Copper Canyon’ and was an institution situated on Church Street beside the River Side theatres.

In the 1970?s it was “The Place”, upmarket and frequented by business people. In 1984 Italian brothers Michael & Frank Agostino relocated Copper Canyon to bigger premises on Phillip Street and renamed it ‘River Canyon’. It remained on Phillip Street for almost 30 years and is the oldest restaurant in Parramatta.

About River Canyon

River Canyon, located alongside Parramatta River is a perfect venue for parties, birthday celebrations, official and family gatherings. The restaurant offers a seating for 250 people along with a great dance floor, DJ and stage video screens. Enjoy awesome food with an efficient catering system in place.
