Gobinath Chandran (born 4 July 1975) is an Indian television anchor, journalist, radio jockey, writer, and media personality, best known as the long-time host of the Tamil-language debate show Neeya Naana on STAR Vijay TV. He hails from Aranthangi in Pudukkottai District, Tamil Nadu, India and began his media career in 1997, initially working with United Television and later with networks such as Raj Television Network, Jaya TV, NDTV, and CNBC TV-18 before joining Vijay TV. Gopinath gained widespread popularity with Neeya Naana (launched in 2006), where he moderates discussions on social, cultural, and contemporary issues, helping bring balanced perspectives to mainstream Tamil television. He has also anchored other shows including Makkal Yaar Pakkam, Sigaram Thotta Manidargal, Nadanthadhu Enna?, and En Desam! En Makkal.
