Javed Ali, born as Javed Hussain in Delhi, started singing at a young age with his father, Ustad Hamid Hussain, a renowned qawwali singer. He was mentored by ghazal singer Ghulam Ali, who recognized his potential and gave him opportunities to perform in live concerts. To honor Ghulam Ali, Javed changed his name to Javed Ali.

He gained fame in 2007 with the song “Ek Din Teri Raahon Mein” from Naqaab. Javed’s popular tracks include “Jashn-e-Bahaaran” from Jodhaa Akbar, “Arziyan” from Delhi-6, “Kun Faya Kun” from Rockstar, and “Tum Tak” from Raanjhanaa, among many others in films like Ghajini, Bajrangi Bhaijaan, and Raees.
