About Artist

KIRTIDAN GADHVI is an Indian folk singer from Gujarat. He is famously known for the dayras, garbas, folk songs and classical nuances. Gadhvi was born and raised in Valukad, Gujarat. Kirtidan received his B.A. and a MPA in music from M. S. University, Vadodara. He moved to Bhavnagar and became a music teacher at the Bhavnagar University. He came to limelight while singing at a Lok Dayro for cow protection rally in Jamnagar, Gujarat, in 2015 that raised Rs 4.5 crore. He sang the song “Laadki” on the TV show MTV Coke Studio along with Sachin–Jigar, Tanishka, and Rekha Bhardwaj in April, 2015. “Laadki”, “Nagar me jogi aaya” and “Gori Radha Ne Kaalo Kaan” are among his popular songs.
