MKR Competition – Ticket Includes a lavish 3 course buffet dinner.

Maharaja Kitchen Rules (MKR) is one of Maharaja Haveli’s biggest events. In 2013, the cooking event was a huge hit amongst participants and spectators. For this year too, the stage is all set for the grand culinary competition to be held on November 8 at the Maharaja’s Haveli.

The event will be judged by celebrity cook and Masterchef finalist Rishi Desai who will add glamour and spark to the competition along with encouraging the participants. Rishi will also launch his new Cookery Book – “Modern Indian” on the occasion and autograph copies personally.

If you relish cooking, here is your chance to witness and enjoy the cooking competition live. Maharaja’s Haveli has exclusive private areas to enjoy the live action. To add, the whole event will be televised on giant screens throughout the restaurant.

6:00PM
Teams arrive + preparation
There will be 8 teams competing.

7:00 – 7:30PM
Mystery Box Challenge – Entrée
Mystery Box Challenge
Teams must cook an entrée dish within 30 minutes and ONLY use ingredients that are provided in the Mystery Box and staples.

7:30 – 8:00PM
Judging + Ranking
Teams will be ranked from 1 – 8 depending on their scores from the entrée Mystery Box round.

8:00 – 9:00 or 9:30PM (still to be advised)
Main + Dessert Cook-off

Depending on the ranking from previous cooking round, teams will have the option to choose one regional part of the Indian subcontinent to cook the main dish.
