Ottawa Diwali - Festival of Lights 2025

The Ottawa Indian Community Association (OICA) invites you to a lively Diwali celebration on Friday, October 17, 2025, starting at 6:00 PM at 100 Charlie Rogers Place, Kanata. The evening begins with networking and appetizers featuring delicious snacks like pakora, aloo tikki, soya chhap, and sweets such as gulab jamun and mango lassi. From 7:00 to 8:45 PM, enjoy a cultural program including Deep Prajjwalan/Pooja, stage performances by local artists, and inspiring speeches from community leaders. Dinner from 8:45 to 9:30 PM offers a traditional feast with puri, cholle, jira rice, daal makhani, paneer lababdar, and desserts like gajar ka halwa and jalebi. The night wraps up with DJ and dance from 9:30 to 10:30 PM, promising a festive and memorable celebration for all.
