Embark on an exhilarating trekking adventure at Sandhan Valley, one of Maharashtra’s most unique and thrilling experiences.

This 4 km-long gorge offers a complete descent trek featuring water crossings and rappelling down sheer rock faces. The adventure continues with a scenic 6 km hike along the riverbed to Dehene village—a must-try for true thrill-seekers craving a one-of-a-kind challenge in the Sahyadris.

Enhance your journey by camping in tents at Samrad village, where you can unwind and connect with nature amidst the stunning landscapes.

To ensure your safety and enjoyment, we provide high-quality UIAA-certified climbing equipment for the rappelling section, guided by a certified and experienced trek leader. Don’t miss out on this adrenaline-filled escapade!

Day-1

• • Reporting time at Kasara 12:40 PM (Board into CSMT – Kasara Fast local train in Central line scheduled at 10:16 AM from CSMT)
  • Event Briefing & introduction – 20 min.
  • Road journey from Kasara to Samrad by hired vehicle – 3 hours.
  • Event Briefing & introduction – 20 min.
  • Pitch up and Allocation of the tent on a sharing basis.
  • Hangout at the campsite or go for a short hike.
  • Dinner break at villagers house- 1 hour.
  • Bed time – 10:00 p.m.

Day-2

• Wake up call – 05:30 AM.
• Fresh up and breakfast – 1 hour
• Descent Trek in Sandhan valley – 6 hours.
• Lunch break during trek at Karoli ghat – 1 hour.
• Hike to Dehene from Karoli ghat – 2 hours.
• Road journey from Dehene to Asangaon Railway station by hired vehicle – 1 ½ hours
