Widely regarded as one of the country’s most fearless and influential artists, the multi-award-winning singer will lead audiences through her musical evolution in a unique performance that fuses traditional African sounds with contemporary artistry, alongside a specially curated lineup of guest performers. Joined by co-headliners Msaki, a multi-award-winning South African musician, and Grammy-nominated singer Somi, the festival is dedicated to preserving and elevating indigenous African music often overlooked in mainstream platforms. Rooted in ancestral rhythms that connect the past, present, and future, the event signals the beginning of what is envisioned as an annual African cultural celebration centred on heritage, unity, and musical excellence, made possible this year through the support of the Department of Sports, Arts and Culture’s Mzansi Golden Economy Initiative.
