About Event
DTribals Foundation is hosting Swadeshi Mela (Indian fair) showcasing the rich heritage of Indian handcrafts, handlooms, Forest produce and millets in the United States. The fair would provide an opportunity to promote and celebrate the diverse cultural traditions of India, while also promoting trade and business opportunities between our two countries.
DTribals believe that this event will be a great opportunity to promote the rich cultural heritage of our area, as well as to support the local economy by providing a platform for these artisans to sell their goods. The fair would feature a wide range of handcrafted items, including textiles, jewelry, pottery, and woodcarvings, as well as handloom products such as sarees, dupattas, and fabrics. Also, millets will be highlighted as an alternative to traditional crops, with workshops and cooking demonstrations.
We believe that this fair would be a great way to promote cultural exchange and understanding between our two countries, as well as a valuable opportunity for American businesses and consumers to learn about the unique and beautiful products that India has to offer.
