The BIG Shabbat 2025

On November 21, 2025, The Temple Emanu-El Streicker Centers and the UJA-Federation will host a historic community gathering at North Javits, NYC, aiming to break the Guinness World Record for the largest Shabbat dinner with 3,000 participants of all ages. The evening will feature a joyful celebration of Jewish unity, from candle lighting to singing, dancing, and dessert. Guests will enjoy a seated kosher (RcBc) vegetarian feast prepared by renowned chefs Beejhy Barhany, Jake Cohen, Joan Nathan, and Adeena Sussman, accompanied by live music and entertainment. Doors open at 5:45 PM, and all attendees are encouraged to be seated on time to make history together.
