Virginia Gay is an Australian actress, writer, and director, born on September 16, 1981, in Sydney. She gained prominence for her roles as Gabrielle Jaeger in All Saints and Frances James in Winners & Losers. A graduate of the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts (WAAPA), Gay has showcased her versatility across television, film, and theatre. Notably, she adapted and starred in a queer reimagining of Cyrano for the Melbourne Theatre Company. In 2024, she served as the artistic director of the Adelaide Cabaret Festival, curating a program that celebrated diverse voices and innovative performances
