Cork City Hall, located on Anglesea Street, is the administrative center of Cork City Council and a prominent landmark celebrated for its elegant Georgian-style architecture, limestone façade, and distinctive copper dome. The building features a grand concert hall that hosts a variety of cultural events and is adorned with notable sculptures, including busts of former Lord Mayors. Rebuilt after the original hall was destroyed in 1920, the current structure was constructed by Sisk & Co. and opened in 1936, standing today as both a functional civic hub and a symbol of Cork’s architectural heritage.
