Joseph Stone Auditorium is a historic and beloved performing arts venue located in the Athlone district of Cape Town. Since opening in 1969, the theatre has been a cornerstone of Cape Town’s cultural scene, offering a welcoming platform for theatre productions, concerts, dance performances, community events, lectures, and film screenings.
With a seating capacity of around 500, excellent acoustics, a professional stage, and full technical support, the auditorium caters to both professional artists and local talent alike. It is also associated with the Eoan Group, a longstanding performing arts organisation with deep roots in South African cultural history.
