Located within the premises of St Hilda’s school, the Joy Shepherd Performing Arts Centre (PAC) transcends the typical school assembly hall. Featuring advanced amenities like a motorised flying system, an orchestra pit, and luxurious red velvet drapes, it serves as a venue for public and community productions, performances, and live concerts.
In honor of a highly esteemed principal who made significant contributions to the arts, the PAC was constructed on the site of the old school pool in 2012. Subsequently, the Forrest Foyer was added as a generous donation from the Forrest family, adding a touch of grandeur to every event hosted at the PAC. The stage has witnessed diverse performances, ranging from the captivating musical “Sweeney Todd: Demon Barber of Fleet Street” to the delightful rendition of “Oliver.”
