The National Children’s Theatre (NCT) is a leading children’s theatre organization in Gauteng, dedicated to enriching the lives of children and young people across both urban and rural South Africa through educational, engaging, and award-winning performances. With a mission to inspire future leaders through the performing arts, NCT offers original musicals, interactive theatre experiences, and immersive after-school programs. Operating year-round from its expansive 4.5-acre campus in Johannesburg, the theatre features two indoor theatres, an outdoor theatre, a puppet theatre, a music room, and workshop classrooms. Welcoming nearly 100,000 visitors annually, NCT is recognized as one of the busiest and most influential theatres in South Africa.
