The Palau de la Música Catalana is one of Barcelona’s most iconic cultural landmarks and among the world’s finest concert halls. Designed by renowned Catalan architect Lluís Domènech i Montaner, the building was constructed between 1905 and 1908 as the home of the Orfeó Català choral society. It is celebrated as a masterpiece of Catalan Modernisme, featuring an extraordinary blend of colorful mosaics, stained-glass windows, intricate sculptures, and decorative ceramics. In 1997, the Palau was designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site, recognizing its exceptional architectural and cultural significance.
