Opened in 2003 and named in honour of former Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi, it is the home ground of the Hyderabad Cricket Association and the Indian Premier League’s Sunrisers Hyderabad. With a seating capacity of up to around 55,000, the stadium hosts international matches, domestic fixtures, and IPL games, and is noted for its modern facilities, enthusiastic fan atmosphere, and role as a key cricketing destination in southern India.
