Originally opened in 1927 and beautifully restored after Hurricane Katrina, the theater features elegant Italian Renaissance–style architecture, ornate interior design, and seating for approximately 2,600 guests. The venue hosts a wide range of events including Broadway productions, concerts, comedy shows, and theatrical performances, and serves as the primary home for Broadway in New Orleans, making it a central destination for live entertainment in the city.
