History & Construction: Built between 1700 and 1707 by the Italian architect Domenico Egidio Rossi for Margrave Louis William of Baden-Baden (“Türkenlouis”) and his wife Sibylla Augusta.
Architecture: It is a three-wing complex that served as the centerpiece of a planned Baroque town.
