Riviera Theatre is a historic concert and performance venue located in the Uptown neighborhood of Chicago. Opened in 1917 as a lavish movie palace, the theater is known for its grand French Renaissance–style architecture, ornate interiors, and impressive auditorium design, which have made it one of Chicago’s most recognizable historic entertainment venues.
