AfriForum Theatre in Pretoria will host the spectacular International Winter Ballet Gala on 31 July 2026, presented by Mzansi Ballet in collaboration with the South African International Ballet Competition and staged by Dirk Badenhorst. This exceptional event brings together world-class dancers from Russia, Cuba, the United Kingdom, and South Africa, including acclaimed medalists from the South African International Ballet Competition, for an unforgettable celebration of classical and contemporary ballet. Audiences will be treated to iconic pas de deux from Don Quixote (Minkus) and Swan Lake (Tchaikovsky), as well as the timeless The Dying Swan (Saint-Saëns), alongside captivating contemporary works by Angela Revie, Jayd Swart, and Mario Gaglione. With performances scheduled for 15:00 and 19:00, this gala promises an inspiring and elegant showcase of artistry, technique, and international talent.
