MCC 2026: OPENING CONCERT

The 2026 Mzanzi Conductors Convention will launch with an unforgettable musical evening, featuring Misatango by Martín Palmeri, performed with the composer at the piano and conducted by internationally acclaimed Saul Zaks, alongside Grammy-winning bandoneon soloist Joaquin Benitez Kitegroski. Audiences will also enjoy the captivating voice of Minette du Toit-Pearce, accompanied by the rich strings of the Cape Town Philharmonic Orchestra, while a powerful mass choir—comprising the University of Limpopo Choristers, University of KwaZulu-Natal Choir, Voces Libres Chamber Choir, and Kaapstad Stadskoor—adds to the grandeur.
