The evening’s programme features a rich and diverse selection of classical masterpieces, including Beethoven’s Sonata No. 17, Tempest, Grieg’s Seven Pieces from Lyric Pieces, Liszt’s Sonata in B minor, S. 178, and Gottschalk’s Le Bananier and Ojos Criollos. The recital will be performed by Pervez Mody, a world-renowned pianist acclaimed for his expressive depth, emotional intensity, and technical brilliance. Born in Mumbai and currently based in Germany, Mody is a distinguished graduate of the Tchaikovsky Conservatory in Moscow and the University of Music in Karlsruhe. A Steinway Artist since 2012, he has captivated audiences around the globe with his remarkable interpretations, particularly his acclaimed recordings of Scriabin’s works and his presentation of the complete Beethoven cycle. In addition to his solo performances, he is an active chamber musician, performing internationally alongside violinist Isabel Steinbach as part of Duo Appassionata.
